On 28 June 2023, Clarivate Analytics released its 2023 Journal Citation Report, which evaluates more than 20,000 high-quality scientific and technical academic journals from more than 80 countries and regions on five continents worldwide through a series of metrics, covering more than 200 research fields in the natural and social sciences. Among them, the journal Food Frontiers obtained its first 2-years Impact Factor - 9.9, and 5-years Impact Factor – 10.0., completing its debut in the international arena of global food science and technology journals with a perfect performance.
